Hi, My name is Sam and I am a Year 5 student at Mt Carmel School. I wanted to participate in the Summer Blogging as I was with my mum when Rachel came to talk to her class. I asked my mum if I can join. Finally she agrees and I am very keen to journey through with so many children around New Zealand.

Week 3: Activity 2: What’s in a Name?

Popular Names at my school

 Girls - Amelia with different spelling but same pronunciation. We have over 5 Amelia's.

 Boys - Max - we have 4 boys but through out the years we always have more than 3 Maxes.

My name used to be the most popular name in MT Carmel but as the years went by they started leaving school.
