Greasy pies and soggy sandwiches.
‘ I have a few announcement to make’, Mr Drake said, reading from the morning notices.‘ Our tuck shop lady, Mrs Peabody, fell down some stairs last night and was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm and leg. That means there will be no more hot soup or home baking for the next few months’. Room Fourteen groaned. We’ll make a get well card for her during art this afternoon’, Mr Drake said, glaring at everyone over the top of his glasses. ‘Since you are all concerned about her health and not about your own stomachs.’ Kenneth turned around and whispered to Mark. ‘ No hot soup and cake! They were the only decent things in the tuck shop. Everything else is greasy and soggy’.
The End
About Me
Hi, My name is Sam and I am a Year 5 student at Mt Carmel School. I wanted to participate in the Summer Blogging as I was with my mum when Rachel came to talk to her class. I asked my mum if I can join. Finally she agrees and I am very keen to journey through with so many children around New Zealand.
